SETHIn Development

Autonomous business infrastructure intelligence.

SETH is TGL's planned in-house AI platform. Its long-term objective is to let a nontechnical business owner create and manage sophisticated business technology through natural-language conversation.

Development status

SETH is under development and is not commercially available. Everything on this page describes intended architecture and objectives, not shipped functionality. TGL will not describe SETH as a present-tense capability until it is one.

The objective

The business owner describes the business. Nothing else.

The intent is that a user never needs to understand programming, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, deployment, servers, or software architecture. They describe how their company works. The infrastructure follows from that.

  • programming
  • databases
  • APIs
  • cloud infrastructure
  • deployment
  • servers
  • software architecture

A business interview

“I operate three auto repair shops. I need customers to schedule appointments, technicians to manage jobs, managers to approve purchases, inventory tracked across all three locations, and customers automatically notified when their vehicles are ready.”

Becomes an operating environment

Most of those already exist as validated capabilities. That is the point — SETH is designed to assemble before it invents.

Intended architecture

Conversation to deployed infrastructure.

The designed workflow. Human review is a step in it, not an exception to it.

  1. 1

    Conversation

A business owner describes how the business runs, in their own words.

  2. 2

    Business Understanding

Users, workflows, data, permissions, locations, and rules are modeled.

  3. 3

    Infrastructure Blueprint

The model becomes a concrete plan for an operating environment.

  4. 4

    Capability Selection

Validated capabilities from the library are matched to requirements first.

  5. 5

    Capability Generation

Where no suitable capability exists, a new component is generated.

  6. 6

    Human Review

Generalized capabilities are reviewed by TGL personnel before they enter the library.

  7. 7

    Deployment

The environment is deployed and operated on TGL infrastructure.

  8. 8

    Ongoing Optimization

The system continues to adapt as the business changes.

Reuse before generation

SETH is designed to first determine whether TGL already holds a validated capability that solves the requirement, and to reuse or adapt it whenever practical. Generating something new is the fallback, not the default.

Human review before permanence

When SETH generates a new generalized capability, it is submitted to TGL personnel for review. Only after approval can it enter the permanent Tool Library and become available to future systems.

Intelligence, not execution

SETH is intended to specialize in architecture, development, optimization, and automation design. Routine business operations should run on self-sufficient deterministic applications rather than consuming AI compute to do what ordinary code does reliably and cheaply.

Autonomy model

AI capability with human-defined authority.

SETH is being designed around configurable autonomy. The business decides how much authority it grants — and high-risk activities can stay approval-gated at every level.

Advisory

Identifies opportunities and recommends changes. Acts only after approval.

Every proposed change is presented for a human decision. Nothing reaches a production system without explicit authorization.

Supervised

Performs defined classes of routine action. Requests approval for anything significant.

Routine, well-bounded, reversible work proceeds directly. Changes outside that boundary are escalated for approval.

Advanced Autonomy

Operates within explicitly defined permissions and governance policy.

Authority is granted by policy rather than per action. High-risk activities remain approval-gated regardless of autonomy level.

Regardless of mode, high-risk activities remain approval-gated. Autonomy governs the routine; it does not remove the human from consequential decisions.

Why it compounds

Every business SETH helps build makes the next one easier.

More businesses means more problems encountered, which means more validated capabilities, which means a stronger library, faster deployments, and a more capable SETH. The model improves with use rather than depreciating.

The TGL compounding model: More businesses, then More infrastructure deployed, then More problems encountered, then More validated capabilities, then Stronger capability library, then Faster deployment, then Lower marginal effort, and back to the beginning.
  1. 01More businesses
  2. 02More infrastructure deployed
  3. 03More problems encountered
  4. 04More validated capabilities
  5. 05Stronger capability library
  6. 06Faster deployment
  7. 07Lower marginal effort
  8. …and back to the beginning.

Where SETH actually stands

Development status, stated plainly.

Today
SETH is in research and development. It is not deployed, not commercially available, and not operating any customer environment.
Foundations that exist
The capability library, TGL Cloud, the identity layer, and the operating fleet are live and in production. SETH is being designed to sit on top of infrastructure that already runs.
Research inputs
TGL's operating environments retain detailed local histories of development and operations work — commands, code changes, errors, corrections, deployments, and results. These are potential governed research inputs for future SETH development. SETH has not been trained on this information.
What would change the status
SETH moves from In Development to Live on this site when it is actually operating, not when it demonstrates well.

TGL builds the tools. TGL operates the infrastructure. SETH learns how to put it together.

The first two are running today. The third is what we're building.
